Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying this nice weather we are starting to get with Summer coming in. Today’s post is just going to be a nice little breakdown on my last Target shopping trip. I have a really bad problem about going to Target whenever I’m bored and just buying whatever is on their shelves (I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem either). So let’s just get into it.
The first thing I put in my basket walking in were these super cute little note cards. I love the dollar spot section where everything is only like $1-$3, and I can easily spend $25+ in that section every time I walk through it. I got a pack of thank you cards, as well as just a blank floral pack. They each come with 8 cards and envelopes that match, so for $1 a pack it really just can not be beat.
I also picked up one of the new Covergirl Tru Blend Blushes. I bought one of their Tru Blend Bronzers a few weeks ago and it has quickly become my favorite drug store bronzer, so I knew I wanted to try a blush too. I picked up the shade “light rose”. I have yet to wear it but I did swatch it and it is a very very light pink with a nice shimmery glow. I even think this could be either used as a highlighter or mixed with another highlighter for a nice light pink tint. It is so pretty, and I actually really like the packaging as well.
Another cosmetics item I bought is the NYC Lovatics by Demi Mascara. I basically bought this because I haven’t really tried NYC before, and I am a fan of Demi Lovato, so you put those two things together and throw a $4 price tag on it, I am all in! I tried it once, and it isn’t totally amazing but for $4 it was not bad, and I also love when mascara is reallllly black, and this one was definitely jet black. It does have a somewhat odd scent, I am not sure why, it isn’t bad but just a little strange.
I also bought 2 different packs of wipes to try. Yes, I am sure by now you all know and if not now you do, that I am obsessed with wipes currently. Makeup removing wipes, exfoliating wipes, body wipes, hand wipes, any kind of wipes. I want them, I need them. So the first pack I picked out were just regular kleenex wipes. I like to keep these in my purse or car, just for any spills or for hand wipes. I am a full time nanny of 3 kids, so hand wipes are always a must have. The other pack of wipes I bought are the Simple Exfoliating Facial Wipes. I am not a fan of these. I have been wanting to try the Simple brand for a while after hearing so many good reviews on their products, but these wipes were just a no for me. I don’t like the way they feel, a little too rough for me. I also didn’t think they even cleansed my face or took of my makeup very well. They just aren’t the best and now I just use them to wipe off my makeup swatches of my arms.
I also bought these guys right here. I got a refill pack for my Venus Swirl razor. If you are a girl that shaves and you do not use this razor, we can not be friends. This razor is life changing. It is the best hands down, and it is called Swirl because it has a little metal ball that the blades sit on, and so it in a way just curves the razor with your body. It is honestly amazing, best razor ever. I also picked up this little flamingo makeup bag because it is adorable, it was less than $2, and because I told you I have a shopping problem.
Last products I bought and they technically were not bought at Target. I got these Sinful X Kylie Jenner nail polishes at Walgreens but then I noticed Target has the same color for the same price, so I figured I would share them on here with you guys. Everyone knows I am a big Kylie fan so of course I had to try these. I haven’t worn any of the colors yet but I did paint my God Daughter’s toes with them, and so far so good! I got the duo chrome color “Kleopatra” and the shimmer matte color “V.I.Peach”. These retailed for about $2.50-$3.
Also if you guys are really nosey like I am, I bought tuna fish and packing tape as well. That is it for my Target trip this time. Thank you all for reading, and I hope you enjoyed. Have a great day!
